How did the 2025 homeowners surveyed first learn of the home that they purchased?
Studies by the National Association of Realtors® have shown the following:
- Among all generations of home buyers, the first step taken in the home search process was to look online for properties. Buyers typically searched for 10 weeks and looked at a median of 7 homes.
- 88% of buyers purchased their home through a Real Estate Agent or Broker. 88% of those buyers would use their agent again and recommend them to others.
- Buyers benefit from the assistance of a real estate professional to find the right home for them, negotiate better terms of the sale and negotiate the best price.
