I became a real estate professional because I love the process of buying and selling homes. I enjoy working with my clients and providing them with the highest level of professionalism and care. I am very hands’ on and work hard to understand my client’s needs.
Leann is a life-long resident of Fairfield which enables her to know and understand the community and all it has to offer. She enjoys living here and feels it is important to volunteer to help make the community a better place. She serves on the board of The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library, as Committee Chairman for Cub Scout Pack 95, and on the executive boards for the North Stratfield School PTA and PTA Council. She also volunteers with the Mill River Wetland Committee which teaches children to understand the importance of protecting our watershed. She is a bit of a “renovation junkie” and has renovated 4 houses of her own. Leann graduated from Lehigh University with a dual degree in Biology and Government. She loves reading, sewing, spending time with her husband, Lawrence and boys, Zachary and Ben. She feels fortunate to live in such a beautiful town and appreciates its rich heritage and its geographic diversity from the harbor to the beaches to the hills.
“We would to take this opportunity to praise our agent, Leann Ratner. We were very impressed with all she did to assist us in the selling of our home. When we first met with Leann, we were feeling pretty overwhelmed by the process of getting our home ready to be put on the market. We were told that we should make some improvements by other realtors we interviewed. Leann agreed that we should probably make some improvements that would make the houses sell faster and, therefore, be a less painful process in the long run. However, she assured us that we were in this together and she believed in working for her commission and would help us. We were a little doubtful, but she was so sweet yet professional, we agreed to give her the listing. It was the best thing we ever did. Leann helped my “pack rat” husband part with some of his “collections.” She also showed up night after night to rip up carpet and steam wallpaper off the walls. She even went the extra mile to sew curtains for some newly painted rooms that helped showcase our home at its best. We were also delighted with the price she placed on our home. It sold on the very first day for full price! Houses on our street that came on at the same time but were priced somewhat higher are still on the market now, two months later. Leann has continued to keep in touch throughout the process to make sure things progress smoothly. We will have our closing next week and will be off to our new life, but we wanted to somehow thank Leann for all her efforts, her thoughtfulness and good humor. We couldn’t have done it without her.” ~ Mary & Ron Russo
